As the current associate director for the Plant Based Foods Association’s Marketplace Development team, Nikki helps foster retail partnerships and create mutually beneficial opportunities for plant-based companies to engage in retailers’ initiatives and advocates for increased awareness and execution of plant-based strategies within the grocery retail environment. She spent 13 years of her career with Kroger, where she held diverse roles at the store, division, and corporate levels with responsibilities ranging from merchandising and buying to training to forecasting labor needs. Outside of Kroger, she’s held positions with grocers, from regional supermarkets to small food co-ops.

Linette Kwon is the Data and Consumer Insights Analyst at Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA). As a member of PBFA’s Marketplace Development team, she conducts research, surveys, and gathers meaningful insights to nurture strong partnerships and create opportunities for PBFA’s members. With an educational background in experimental psychology and preventive health, Linette brings her knowledge in research, interest in health, and endlessly curious mindset to her work, always trying to dip deeper and examine the beliefs, feelings, and behaviors of plant-based consumers. In addition, she strives to keep track of the strengths, challenges, and other unique trends in the plant-based industry.

Lead Insights Account Manager, 84.51° 
As a Lead Insights Account Manager, Shannon Weis partners with CPGs, suppliers, and affiliated partners on their strategic growth plans and supporting data analytic needs. She has deep experience collaborating with suppliers of all sizes, from the largest organizations to those who are just getting started and everyone in between. Shannon’s knowledge and responsibilities span across 84.51° Insights capabilities including 84.51° Stratum, Consumer Research, Custom Insights and 84.51° In-Queries. Shannon has been with Kroger / 84.51° for 17 years, covering Insights, Merchandising, Consumer Markets, Shopper Marketing and Loyalty. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in The History of Art & Architecture from Miami University (Ohio).
